 Women as Career Coaches (WACC) is designed to involve a variety of women from different occupational pathways to encourage and help young women become better informed about the many options available to them in the world of work. Female mentors representing all occupational sectors will act as Career Coaches to empower young women to take control of their futures.

Key components of the WACC program include:

1.      Interactive Mural – an opportunity for Students, Career Coaches, and a local
         Artist to create an art piece commemorating WACC 2010.
2.      Icebreaker - an activity to encourage dialogue between Students and Career 
         Coaches. 
3.      Spotlight Speakers – five minute presentations throughout the evening 
         from women of different generations and occupational pathways. 
4.      Table Talks – four Career Coaches and four Students sharing stories, career
         pathways, goals, and experiences.
5.      Keynote Speaker – Jeanne Beker, television personality, author
         and newspaper columnist, who covers fashion and lifestyle news for
         Citytv, Fashion Television Channel and The Globe and Mail.
